EasyStep ELISA is a new developed method by ELK Biotechnology.
It is based on a three-step method and directly labels the detection antibody with HRP, achieving one-step sampling. This method not only saves time, but also improves experimental efficiency. ELK's unique standard strips can also increase the number of sample tests and facilitate scientific research.
Easy Step principle:
The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The plateprovided in this kit has been pre-coated with an specific antibody , then, add standard/samples. Proteins in the standards or proteins in the sample bind to the antibodies on the microplate. Next, add HRP-conjugated antibody, wash the unbound HRP-conjugated antibody, and then add TMB substrate for color development. TMB is converted into blue under the catalysis of peroxidase and into yellow under the action of acid. The color depth is positively related to the concentration of the target protein. Finally, use a microplate reader to measure the absorbance (OD value) at a wavelength of 450 nm, and calculate the sample concentration by drawing a standard curve.
